Carla R. Clemons Scholarship

This scholarship was created in memory of Carla R. Clemons. Carla was born and raised on the west side of Detroit. She was very well known and respected in her neighborhood for her generosity and dedication to her loved ones. Carla’s daughter, Alexis, who is a student in ComArtSci, created this award to assist a student in the college who has experienced the loss of one or both parents/guardians.

To be eligible, applicants must:
• have a declared major in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences
• have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• have a deceased parent/guardian
