Have overcome obstacles in their lives by demonstrating leadership under adversity.
Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion on campus by promoting cross cultural understanding and enrichment due to life experiences.
Financial need as determined by the federal government through its policies and procedures may be a consideration.
Involvement in Southwest Michigan Urban League activities may also be a consideration.
