Amy J. Papranec Family Scholarship
The Amy J. Papranec Family Scholarship was established through the generosity of Amy J. Papranec, a 1988 Michigan State University alumna in Materials and Logistics Management, to support future Spartans pursuing degrees in Supply Chain Management. Inspired by her family’s deep Spartan legacy and the values of education, hard work, and service instilled by her parents, Amy created this scholarship to help students achieve their academic and professional goals while making a positive impact in their communities.
This scholarship is intended to recognize students who demonstrate both academic promise and a commitment to serving others. In addition to supporting students with financial need, it encourages engagement in activities that enrich the university and broader community through leadership, volunteerism, and professional involvement.
Eligible recipients must be pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management within the Eli Broad College of Business and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students who have shown an interest in acts of service through volunteer activities, internships, registered student organizations, or similar experiences that reflect a commitment to helping others.
Scholarship recipients are selected annually during the spring semester, with awards taking effect the following fall. The number and amount of awards are determined each year based on available endowment funds and are typically applied through the tuition payment process.
Through this scholarship, Amy J. Papranec honors the transformative power of education and service, investing in the next generation of Supply Chain Management leaders who embody the values of academic excellence, community engagement, and a commitment to creating positive change.
