School of Journalism Scholarships
Detroit Free Press High School Journalism Scholarship: Established by current and former employees of the Detroit Free Press, the intent of this scholarship is to encourage students who participate in the Detroit High School Journalism Program and Detroit Free Press apprentice program to attend Michigan State University and study Journalism.
Qualifications:
- Preference is given to participants of the Detroit High School Journalism Program and Detroit Free Press apprentice program
- Incoming freshmen are eligible to apply
School of Journalism scholarships are applied to a student’s university account to support a future semester of study. To be considered, applicants must complete the application form for this scholarship opportunity.
