CHARLES/DOROTHY DOANE VET EDUC - Veterans
The Doane VET Success Scholarship: Funds may be used to provide direct scholarship support for tuition, books, study abroad, internships, childcare or housing for graduate and undergraduate students and/or be used to enhance counseling services, tutoring and life skills programs, family support services, disability support services or career development services. If expenditures are used to provide scholarship support for students, the funds will be administrated in accordance to the following requirements: (i) Must have served on active duty in any branch of the military; (ii) Must show financial need as determined by the Federal Government according to its policies and procedures; (iii) Funds may be awarded for tuition, books, housing or childcare based on the recommendation of the Director of Financial Aid; (iv) Recipients are normally selected during the Spring Semester, with awards to be effective the following Fall Semester. The number of awards made in a given year and the amount of the awards will be based upon available Expendable Amounts in that year. Generally, awards are credited during the tuition payment process.
