Thomas A Stahr Expendable Scholarship

The Scholarship shall be awarded to student(s) who graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, Michigan and demonstrated leadership qualities, good citizenship, acceptable academic standing and their participation in extracurricular activities as a student at Lowell High School or successor school serving the Lowell, Michigan area. It is the desire of the donor that the spring scholarship will be awarded as long as the student has maintained a GPA of 2.5. If the student falls below the required GPA, the spring scholarship will be awarded to another Lowell High School student.

The Lowell High School Scholarship Committee will review applications and the Director of Counseling Services at Lowell High School will make recommendations to the Office of Financial Aid. The Office of Financial Aid reserves the right to make the final selection of the award recipients and will notify Director of Counseling Services of any objections and reasons to the Committee’s recommendations no later than May 1 of each year.
