Dr. David and Patricia Nix "Miss MSU" Barron Endowed Scholarship in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences

Patricia Nix Barron was nicknamed “Miss MSU” for her outstanding campus activities while at the university, including senior class secretary, involvement in Greek life, and being selected as Carnival and ROTC queen. This scholarship is to honor outstanding students in the College.

Each year the recipient is a junior in the Communication Department.
