Jane J. Carter Endowed Scholarship in Journalism

Jane J. Carter valued education, superior news reporting, and the quest for knowledge. L. Susan Carter established the scholarship as a tribute to her mother to benefit worthy and capable students enrolled in the School of Journalism at Michigan State University.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate is a student interested in multi-platform journalism with a particular emphasis in broadcast/cable/satellite
• Preference given to students from the Great Lakes Region who maintain a 3.0 GPA.

School of Journalism scholarships are applied to a student’s university account to support a future semester of study. To apply, complete the College of Communication Arts & Sciences scholarship application.
