Disc Fund-Communication Arts - Cathy W. Kiernan Expendable Scholarship in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences

Cathy Kiernan graduated from Michigan State University in 1976 with her B.A. in journalism. After graduation, she began working for Delta Dental of Michigan in the Corporate Communications department. She spent her career at Delta Dental, and held several management positions in various departments. Cathy believes strongly in the value of an education. She put herself through college, and was fortunate to receive assistance from the generosity of others in the form of scholarships. She is now in a position where she can return the favor and offer a scholarship to a deserving student from a new generation.
