James and Dianne Byrum Spartan Scholarship Challenge
All students who are entering their freshman or sophomore year at MSU and who are eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs will be considered for Scholarships. Initial Scholarship awards may be made only to such students. Preference for scholarships are to be given to students with stated majors in the areas of commercial production agriculture, such as crop and soil science, animal science or other agricultural related majors focused on commercial agriculture.
Scholarships will be renewable until the recipient’s graduation, no matter what major or college the recipient chooses, provided that the recipient continues in good standing. The recipient must also remain eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs.
