Jack Shingleton Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time students at Michigan State University.
Recipients shall be students who do not qualify for federal financial aid based upon the FAFSA form.
Preference shall be granted to students who have grade point average of at least 3.5.
However, recognizing that the GPA is only one measure of an individual’s performance, students with higher academic averages will not be given preference until the following personal traits have been demonstrated.
Demonstrate extraordinary skills, talents, curiosity to learn and grow, good moral character and unique characteristics that distinguish them from their peers.
Manifest ethical behavior and good moral character at all times and in all circumstances.
