Urban Chicago and Detroit Spartan Scholarship Challenge

All students who are entering their freshman or sophomore year at MSU and who are eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs will be considered for Scholarships. Initial Scholarship awards may be made only to such students. Preference for the award of Scholarships to students from Cook County, Illinois, or Wayne County, Michigan. If there are no eligible recipients from either county, the Scholarship may be awarded to another recipient.

Scholarships will be renewable until the recipient’s graduation, no matter what major or college the recipient chooses, provided that the recipient continues in good standing. The recipient must also remain eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs.
