Schmidt Family Endowed Scholarship for Metropolitan Chicago

All students who are entering their freshman or sophomore year at MSU and who are eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs will be considered for Scholarships. Initial Scholarship awards may be made only to such students.
Selection criteria for Scholarship recipients will emphasize academic credentials and promise.
This endowed scholarship has a preference for students from the metropolitan Chicago area enrolled at MSU as they start their undergraduate studies.

Renewable until the recipient’s graduation, no matter what major or college the recipient chooses, provided that the recipient remains eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs and continues in good standing.
