Lasher Family Scholarship

The Lasher Family Scholarship was created in honor of Jack and Virginia Lasher, by their daughters Anne Marie and Geralyn. Anne Marie received her BA in Telecommunication from MSU in 1986 and almost immediately moved to Los Angeles, California. She as more than 30 years of experience working in the advertising and content production industry. Geralyn received her BA in Advertising in 1990 and enjoyed a 30 year career in communication, public relations and policy for the state of Michigan. Over their careers both sisters have maintained close ties with the Lansing Community and Michigan State University, especially the College of Communication Arts and Sciences. This scholarship works to build that connection and support students who are also fulfilling their career aspirations.
