Full-time students pursuing a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering who meet the federal definition for financial need will be considered for this award. • Recipients may be incoming students, transfer students, or returning students. In years when only one award can be made, that award will go to an incoming student. It is the Donors’ desire that when multiple awards are made in a year, expendable funds be evenly allocated, to the degree possible, between support of incoming students and support of transfer or returning students. • Transfer or returning student recipients will be those who are or who have been involved with the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Engineers, the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, or the American Indian Science and Engineering Society.
