Recipients shall be selected based on need and academic achievement.

Specifically, applicants attaining a 3.0 G.P.A. or above from high school, if student is an entering freshman, and a 3.0 G.P.A. or above if the applicant is a currently enrolled MSU student of any class level and any major discipline.
