Awarded to an incoming freshman or sophomore at MSU with strong academic credentials / promise who is eligible to receive federal need-based financial aid. Preference will be given to students living in the Illinois counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, or Will.
