Zambiasi Family Scholarship

The Zambiasi Family Scholarship was established through the generosity of George R. Zambiasi to support business students at Michigan State University. A lifelong Spartan and 1964 graduate with degrees in General Business Administration and Mobile Home Marketing, George created this scholarship to help future business majors achieve their educational and professional goals while continuing his family’s strong tradition of Spartan pride.

George Zambiasi’s connection to Michigan State spans generations, with his sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren all attending the university. In retirement, he chose to give back by establishing this scholarship to help deserving students pursue a Broad College education and build successful careers in business.

The scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement and supports those from several Michigan high schools that hold special significance to the donor. By investing in students with academic promise, George hopes to encourage the next generation of business leaders to succeed at Michigan State and beyond.

Recipients are selected annually during the spring semester, with awards taking effect the following fall. Awards may be renewed provided recipients maintain the required academic standing. The number and amount of awards are determined each year based on available endowment funds and are typically applied through the tuition payment process.
