Edward J. Baker Endowed Spartan Scholarship Challenge Fund

All students who are entering their freshman or sophomore year at MSU and who are eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs will be considered for Scholarships. Initial Scholarship awards may be made only to such students.Preference for the award will be given to students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and interested in pursuing a degree in horticulture. In the event the first preference cannot be met, the preference for the award will be given to worthy students in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Scholarships will be renewable until the recipient’s graduation, no matter what major or college the recipient chooses, provided that the recipient continues in good standing. The recipient must also remain eligible to participate in federal need-based financial aid programs.
