Bratzel Family Endowment
Scholarship Funds from the Braztel Family Endowment may be awarded to undergraduate students who have completed at least one full academic year as a member of the Honors College with demonstrated financial need. Funds may be used to defray the cost of attendance or for experiential learning opportunities such as but not limited to study abroad, study away, conference attendance, and/or other student engagement activities that enrich the Honors College student experience. Special consideration should be given to ensure that the scholarship supports the University’s stated mission of building and supporting a culture of diversity and inclusion on campus.
*When creating this scholarship opportunity the donor family shared the following information : * For the Bratzels, attending Michigan State is a family tradition. All five of us, Carolyn, Andrew, Amy, Allison and Claire, attended MSU, starting in 1976 and ending in 2017. Although we earned degrees from different colleges, we all enjoyed being members of the Honors College. Each of us treasured our time at Michigan State and we were able to take advantage of the wonderful opportunities that MSU has to offer. We started this scholarship to make sure that generations of Spartans can do the same.
