Forest H. Akers Scholarship

The income is to be used for the purpose of assisting worthy students in acquiring and education at Michigan State University. Assistance to students from said income may be given either by making loans to such students or by establishing scholarship.

The Detroit Golf Club Board of Directors will convene a Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee will review applications and make recommendations to the Office of Financial Aid. The scholarship shall be awarded to caddies or the children of employees of the Detroit Golf Club.
