Vedaant Garg Endowed Memorial Scholarship

The Vedaant Garg Endowed Memorial Scholarship was established through the generosity of Vikrant Garg in memory of his brother, Vedaant Garg, a junior in the Eli Broad College of Business whose life was tragically cut short in a skiing accident in 2021. This scholarship honors Vedaant’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering support for others by helping future Broad College students pursue the educational opportunities that meant so much to him.

Vedaant was remembered not only for his academic promise, but also for his patience, generosity, and genuine care for those around him. His family created this endowed scholarship to celebrate his giving spirit and ensure that his impact continues through the lives of students who benefit from a Broad College education.

This scholarship is intended to support students in the Eli Broad College of Business who demonstrate financial need, helping to reduce barriers to educational success while honoring Vedaant’s commitment to uplifting others. Through this award, the Garg family hopes to inspire recipients to embody the same compassion and generosity that defined Vedaant’s life.

Recipients are selected annually during the spring semester, with awards taking effect the following fall. The number and amount of awards are determined each year based on available endowment funds and are typically applied through the tuition payment process.
