EFRAIN & FRANCISCA MARINEZ FARM WORKERS

The endowment wishes to honor Efrain and Francisca and continuously encourage educational opportunities for Latinx, Latino, Hispanic, Chicano farm workers who wish to pursue and earn college degrees through Michigan State University. Recipients must fall into the following criteria: (i) May show financial need as determined by the federal government; (ii) 3.0 GPA or higher; (iii) Recipients must demonstrate a connection to the farm worker community; (iv) Preference given to students who are majoring in science (science, math, engineering and technology), agricultural and health related fields; (v) short essay explaining your commitment to social justice, diversity inclusion has helped you overcome obstacles and barriers is required.
